IEC Registration
Importer Exporter Code (IEC) is a mandatory identification number issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) under the Ministry of Commerce, enabling businesses in India to engage in international trade. Whether you're importing goods, exporting products, or exploring global markets, IEC serves as a gateway for seamless international transactions.
For importers, IEC simplifies customs clearance and facilitates foreign bank payments. Exporters benefit from a smoother process for dispatching shipments and receiving overseas payments. Obtaining an IEC is the first step toward unlocking global business opportunities and expanding your enterprise on an international scale.
